Why the client and not this page?

        
Your RTL is encrypted on your machine with ML-KEM-768 + AES-256-GCM to a bench key that the client verifies against the pinned VerStation root key. A web page is delivered by the relay itself, so a compromised relay could change the page and read your files before encryption. The relay never sees plaintext RTL; that only holds if encryption happens in software the relay cannot change, so submissions use the verst client.

Developer workflow
Install the client
The verst client needs only Python 3.9+. It lints and checks your wrapper locally when Verilator or Yosys is installed.
